Interesting show.Years ago, I used ot hang with the street cruiser crowd.But I got tired of being chased out of parking lots, for loitering.Anyhow,knowing that such things are illegal, and not bright.It got me thinking,Maybe what they need is not big muscle cars.I think they need GRC cars.0 to 60 in over 2 seconds.and an go 120 mph on whatever surface you want,playing one of my older rally games.WRC 3, on ps3.I thought maybe the real street race scene is in europe all along.Audi,Peugoet,VW,Renault,all built cars that now can just about hang with the muscle.500 hp 1600cc four turbo, that is a grenade for one thing,but amazing that technology has come that far.Semi automatic gearbox,adjustable awd,under 3k lbs,carbon ceramic brakes,roll cage that cna take anything.It can jump turn stop and go, over any surface you want.Pikes peak version audi quattro vs big v8 car, you would be surprised.I just think they have not yet raced the diesel contigent yet though, although you cant say i was not there.When a 660 ft long trail of smoke is behind you! technology is a amazing thing.Also, wrc is on tv again,I think it is on a channel that i will have to get back to you on.And VW with Sebastien Ogier won rally Mexico last year.It is on last years scene,but I take any rally I can get.Also, the new porsche turbo c4, was on motorweek the other day.Zero to sixty in just over 2 sec.Rear engined awd can out run most cars on the road, and it is a road car.
