Dad is thinking about coming with me, the computer for whatever dont like meetup.com. The internet security thing says unsecured site.. and flips out.But anyway,I am freinds with the guy who runs the tarheel chapter of bmw. older guy, light colored hair, his name escapes me. lightly built, not real tall.
we met at the brathaus after street survival one year.I have been hanging around ever since.Thinking about hitting local mickey dees around after 6, hitting road around 630 in the wrx, and going to there.its got room for a cooler or three, food, clothes, the weather looks wonderful. May buy a radiator from Wagners auto salvage for the golf.I like the car really, its nimble as hell. But, My father may be with me, in some capacity. As long as he remembers some caddies are front wheel drive, he forgot last time in a northstar caddy.. and could not figure out why it would not drift, I told him caddies are fwd for ages.
Just now being rwd again.

I wanted to say "thank you" to everyone that came out and helped w/ the TRSS. This simply could not happen without your help. From instructors to volunteers, your help is appreciated. I think the students had a great time and this was one of the smoothest events I've seen run.

Thank You!

BTW, Keep watch on the forum there are plans for another event in Oct. Date to be determined.

How about that white passat? that thing could go, and by the end he got pretty good. The old mercedes diesel was awesome, the car did not have much to give.. but that thing gave all it had.The e30 was great, good to see those things still being run around.

My student was very timid with the right pedal in her Mazda 3 and it took her a long time to get used to the really high steering ratio (I'm not sure how Brice autocrossed one for so long...you have to turn the wheel way to much in my opinion). However, on the skid pad, when I'd e brake the car, she did a great job at countersteering out of it while maintaining throttle application. I was very impressed with that. Her response time to the lane change was great, but she frequently didn't turn the wheel enough and nudged a cone.
