I actually wanted to put that in my list too, I want one of these too, just ran out of budget. Damn uncle Bruce.

You'll need the extra money for replacement parts.

There are entirely too many FWD Honduhs on your and many other's lists. This is the Tarheel Sports Car Club. Seriously, you come into a windfall of cash and you buy 6 Honda Civics, in white no less!? I don't think uncle Bruce would a approve at all, he didn't leave you $250K to buy Civics. This is kinda like saying if you could sleep with any woman in the world you would pick Janeane Garofalo, I mean, she is kinda cute, smart and funny, but hardly the material of fantasy. And yes, I realize many of you youngsters might not even know who Janeane Garofalo is and that was partly my point. :) :P

James said the first thing he would buy with a windfall inheritance is 6 Honda Civics and I'm the one accused of being drunk!? No, I'm not drunk at 12:45 on a Monday.

Series I EType (#3 condition, or possibly a 2-)
Jag FType
Porsche 930
Exige S (I think it squeezes in under the limit. edit: If not, some kind of DSR that can go to BMod)

So so very far away from this becoming reality....

I'll take James' side on this one....He's got DS, STC, STS, STR, SS, and at least one solid *SP car in that list, not to mention at least three that are sweet trackable rides. I'd say pretty well done. Although preferring FWD is kinda like having a crush on Janeane Garofalo--that's a tough pill to swallow.

I think about this all the time. In fact, I think about selling everything living in a tiny place with a huge garage. (This would only happen if something tragic happened to my wife-don't take that as a hint to do anything to here though) and spending my retirement on cars.

I would buy all stuff I wanted when I was a kid:

E type Jag
XK120 Jag
MG TC
Porsche 914
Porsche 356
Bunch of old Motorcycles

Other than that I don't know, probably would be things that weren't as practical as the above.

Bruce’s wealthier brother and like minded auto nut Ralph has created his own fund for the deserving, but less fortunate. He is less concerned about cost (but he also doesn't want you to try to break the bank). He says to pick just one car (no longer in production) from any manufacture. Also pick what you want and not what others think you should want…

Acura : Alex Zandardi Edition NSX (would rather have picked the JDM NSX-R, but that is technically a Honda)
Alfa Romeo : Series 2 Spider
AMC : Rambler
Aston Martin : DB5
Audi : Sport Quattro S1
BMW : 2002tii
British Motor Corporation : Mini Moke
Buick : Gran Sport GSX
Cadillac : 1959 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible
Chevy : 1st gen Z28 Camaro
Chrysler : 1948 Town & Country Convertible (Woody)
Citreon : 2CV
Datsun/Nissan : 240Z
Dodge : Early (50s?) Power Wagon
Ferrari : 246 Dino
Fiat : Early (early/mid 70's) 500 R
Ford : 1st gen Transit Van
Holden : HX Sandman
Honda : 2000 Civic Si
Isuzu : Impulse Turbo
Jaguar : E Type convertible
Jeep : I6 CJ-5 (sentimental reasons)
Lamborghini : LM002
Lancia : Statos HF
Land Rover : Series IIA
Lincoln : 1960 Continental Convertible
Lotus : Europa
Mazda : RX-3
Mercedes-Benz : Early (60's) W100 600 Pullman
Mercury : 1969 Cougar Eliminator
MG : TD Midget
Morgan : V-twin three wheeler
Nash : Metropolitan
Oldsmobile : 1970 442 W-30
Opel : 1st gen Opel GT
Porsche : 904 Carrera GTS
Renault : 5 Turbo
RUF : CTR "Yellowbird" (sneaky way to get another Porsche)
Saab : Sonett v4
Subaru : BRAT
Toyota : 2000GT
Volvo : P1800
VW : Super Beetle

PS: The "manufacture" list could be much larger, but I don't want to spend weeks at this and for some, they just don't have anything I care to have!

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

240Z will always be on my top 10 list. It actually was my first love. I also didn't ask for a 914 as I already have one! I am glad to see it made the cut for a few other people. :D
