Hey, I need to go find some iron pins in the ground
out at the future MotorSports Complex. Does anyone
have a metal detector by chance? The Radio Shack
"Bounty Hunter" model is $130... which is more
than I'm interested in.

Now if it was the "Booty Hunter", maybe...

Anders

Harbor freight had one for like 40. You might want to try that

When do you need it? My wife's office has a wand-type metal detector (like the TSA guys at the airport use) that we have used to find the survey stakes on our lot. I suspect it might work for your purpose as well. I can see if we could borrow it for a bit.
