I'm familiar with getting cars towed (noooooooooooooooooooooo), but I've never had to get a motorcycle towed. If you have any tips or know of any towers that have towed your motorcycle, please let me know.

I have no recommendations on professional services.

Where is it and will it roll up a set of ramps? I could possibly help you move it. PM me with details on where its at, and when and where you need it to be.

Be very, very carefull with getting somebody. When I wrecked my k1200lt, I made sure I had them call (I was on the side of he road on a stretcher) call one of my insured who works for the most expensive and supposedly best tow companies. He came and put straps around the handle bars and fairing and lifted it up the easy way. That did way more damage than the accident, would have totalled it had I had coverage on it! I would check with a local dealer for a recommendation.

If you don't have any other luck, I have a 4x8' utility trailer, a big ramp, and a motorcycle chock that you could borrow. I have towed several bikes on trips with this setup, works great. Just would want a helper to push it up and stabilize while strapping.

I like Dean's Towing, 919-872-4476. They take great care and have done a good job, both with cars and bikes. I keep their number in my cellphone as they're the go-to towing company for me.

+1 They've picked me up in my work truck several times through the years, once across the VA border when the fuel pump died and are generally quick.

Thanks to Jason for helping me out this week. I just realized that all of my 2-wheeled purchases have been red.

2004 Trek 1200: Red
1981 Honda Passport C70: Red
2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R: Red

The good:

The bad:

Shouldn't be too bad to fix up, just some plastics.
