...not me but I tried. Oh, and one more resolution, keep the cars I have for '13! What'd you come up with and yes, race cars included.

Sold:
'03 Mazda 3 to Rodney (thanks for the lead Brice). Great practical car, decent mileage, tons of room, and had it almost a year and wish I still had it as it was a great all around car that will be a fun HS contender.

'04 S2000 sold locally after about a year of ownership. Fastest car I've ever owned and had an awesome time learning RWD and racing against some great drivers in STR class, running RTR at the NCAC, hitting a few new venues like Little Washington and Cherry Point, all-the-while not worrying about changing tires. Easily one of the most fun autocross seasons I've ever had.

Bought:
'01 Acura ITR bought in Maryland. Overall, pretty clean, stock car that I've been going over with a fine tooth comb with a spreadsheet to prove it but it's ALMOST up to standards. I'm hoping this car will sort of fulfill the best of both worlds that that the S2000 and Mazda3 offered, high revving & fun but fairly inexpensive and practical with the hatchback and decent mileage.

Sold:
11 Civic SI - was tired of the bad fuel economy and being a fanatical nut about parking it and high insurance and boy-racers messing with me everywhere

Bought:
99 Integra - full on out beater as a quick solution to not having the SI that is reliable and gets good fuel economy

91 CRX - what I really wanted in the first place and a great, rust free, reasonably modified one hit the market so I had to jump on it

Sold:
99 Integra - didn't need 2 beater Hondas

Bought:
04 BMW 330 - after a summer of driving no A/C beaters without cup holders or power steering (CRX), I wanted something with some creature comforts and Donnie's pristine ZHP hit the market. Now I'm back with a car with poor fuel economy and struts that I'm fanatical about parking around other cars and driving in the rain, so my net delta for 2012 was basically zero :).

You use the word "win" loosely don't you? (this post harnessed the power of VK)

Me:
Sold:
2011 Mustang GT: Completely badass. It is missed.
1999 Nissan Pathfinder: Workhorse, but sold to fund the 4 door track whore project.

Purchased
2001 Honda S2000: Damn, this thing is slow, the top goes down though.
1998 Acura Integra: Gets me back on track. Bonus, it makes the s2000 feel fast.

Good point Mike, looking at it that way I guess I win, I bought 3 'merican V8s last year and replace one hairdresser's car with a much more fasterer hairdresser's car with more displacement.

Rodney should get bonus points for accelerated depreciation of purchases that he will barely keep thru April 2013.

A sub goal of mine is to keep the either the Bimmer *or* the CRX all of 2013 and the CRX is likely sale.

I've dun whoa'd up my money spend for this year. Bullitt and suspension parts are for sale, just waiting on a buyer for both. Other than 2 tires for the Mazda, I think that will be it for the year pending winning of the lottery.
