Care to guess what I've been doing?
I have for the first time actually experienced the full "rotating on its axis" trick that AWD cars can do. Don't know how I've avoided this for so long, just seemed like my car wouldn't do it for very long for some reason - it always did it for a couple of rotations then switched to slowly moving backward while rotating (even weirder). It seems to work better in 1st gear than 2nd gear, but only a little better. I don't know how long I sat in one spot, but it was long enough that I was walking funny when I got out of the car.
The best part is that I just washed & Armoralled the car on Saturday, didn't drive it at all yesterday, drove it to work today, where it got a little dirty on the drive home during the rain, then decided since it's already dirty...
Oh, and you can't slide into a corner & maintain your line on wet grass like you can on dry grass... in case anybody was wondering.
Oh, yeah - and you'd better plan well in advance of where you plan to actually stop the car if you're driving on wet grass. Don't ask me how I know this, because it ALMOST got embarassing.
