I went to CMP this weekend to watch the Lemons race.

I returned home to find my back door kicked in and my house ransacked. They could not carry my 36 inch CRT TV out of the house. Small thanks for old technology. Also my cats are gone. The back door was left closed somewhat.

Damn George, hate to hear this. Been thinking about buying a closed circuit TV setup for the house myself and hearing this makes me want to pull the trigger. They have the technology now for motion activated cameras and to be able to send you photos via email. That's the part I want. I need a face to pummel after I catch them.

I have a cheap man's version of that setup in my house using the webcam on my PC and the freeware Yawcam. I have it configured to do motion detection and FTP the images to a remote server as well as email them to my phone.

I came home tonight to find a window broken and my new desktop computer gone. They also got the subwoofer to the speaker system and my digital camera. I guess they cut thier hand because I also found blood on the door and a dish towel gone.

It only took RPD 2 hours to respond and another 1 1/2 hours for CCBI to get here.

I opened the freezer today to find my Klondike bars gone.

Don't start with would you break into a house for a Klondike bar. :stick:

That's terrible. Hopefully the police can figure out who it was.

Might be the same perp.
Apparently it is common for burglars to make a return visit to get your new stuff or anything they missed the first time.

WTF is wrong with people??? Really sorry to hear about this, George. Hopefully they find the jerk and you get your stuff back (and/or a good insurance payment). Karma will catch up to those people...

I found out my insurance company raised the deductable minimum to $1k this year. Did not tell me and did not reduce my rates. I think I will insurance shop too now.

My former agent did the same thing to me George for no apparent reason. I called Cline's office while sitting at his secretary's desk! That was fun watching her squirm

The punks hit the house across the street from me on Friday. They have alse been breaking into the empty house across my street and camping out. Today the handy man for the empty house found 2 items that were in my shed. Now there are 2 folks that are parking thier cars away from the house and waiting with firearms to greet the punks on thier return.
