I just wanted to let everyone know that after more than ten years of marriage, Jessica and I are finally expecting our first child by the end of the year. We waited all this time for me to grow up and since it hasn't happened yet, we figured we better not wait any longer! Jess won't be racing the rest of the year, we're too nervous to do so. We're looking at December 2nd as our due date.

So far the little bean (only 1.65 cm so far) is cooperating in the fact that he'll arrive in the middle of two race seasons and before we fill out taxes again!

See you folks at VA!

phil

Congratulation

Kathy, did autocross when she was pregnant of both of our kids.
Both of them are born in March, so she approx, stop doing autocross 4 month before due. So she should be good until the end of July.

Congrats guys!!!! That explains why Jessica isn't on the list for this weekend. Our first daughter's birthday is Dec 2. Of course she was due on Dec 23 but desiced that she wanted to celebrate Christmas with the rest of us.

Great news! Here's the kind of stuff you have to look forward to. Nathan was 1 week old. He's 6 weeks now and 12 lb (4 lb heavier than in that picture)!

Congratulations!

Perhaps it's time for the club to have "child care" at the events... make it a worker assignment for a few of the parents, and have an area coned off for the kiddies to play in... Hum... (Who doesn't have kids, so what do I know?)

Diane

I upgraded to an enclosed trailer, you should see it during an event
with all the toys and Lego's all around. It's the day care place.

This actually isn't that bad of an idea. It would get more of the wives involved in our addiction, er, hobby.
