I'm seeing more and more of these trucks on the road it seems: they have canvas roll-up sides and a rounded plastic-looking "tail cone" on the back. It seems like they usually come as double trailers.

I keep checking them, looking for hints of their use, but no luck so far. Anyone know?

Thanks!

Carl,

BMW uses similar trucks for car delivery. The ones I recall seeing on the highway had some sort of identification that made me think that they were also BMW transporters even though they didn't seem to have obvious BMW markings.

Carl,

Obviously I have too much time on my hands . . .

Are these what you've seen?

Yeah, that looks like them- thanks! They must be selling more and more BMWs around here for me to be seeing so many... certainly looking at what our club members are driving would seem to bear that out!

Thanks again,

I know 2 people that have bought BMWs for less money in the last 2 weeks than you probably have in replacement parts on your Neon :)

They're good cars, and now they're cheap too. I'm really glad there are so many people out there willing to pay $30-40k for my future used car!

BMT is one my companies customers I have been to thier shop and walked around in thoose trailers, they have 8 cars in the thoose trailers 4 in each one. Since BMT has been hauling cars for them, the damage rate for cars that they haul is pratically non existent.

BMT Started out hauling just for BMW, but know haul for several other companies as listed above. These trucks are built to european specs hence the daul trailer format.
