I expected the Prius to be on there. Seems like every TV character has one now. I've actually seen one in Four Oaks a few times that has "hybrid" in big, italicized letters in the rear side windows. Annoying. :stick:

My most disliked is the lifted redneck truck that has HID bulbs in non-HID lenses.

I've come across that jerk as well, plus he's running 100w foglights on top of the HID's.

I'm glad to see the market rejecting hybrids. IMHO they are the snake oil of our time. The Murana cross over cabrio had to be the worst idea since that Maserati that was almost identical to a Lebaron.

Wow, Honda had three of the top ten. Somebody is not looking forward to work tomorrow.

That article actually made me miss the 90's and early 2000's.

Crappy hybrids, "dud" Hondas, and 5000 lb BMWs? Where's my time machine?

Surprisingly, the Accord Crosstour and Lexus CT200 didn't make the list....guess there were just so many choices

Wow, a Civic as #1?! That's actually really shocking but I can't say I really like the new body style much and I didn't even know they still made Ridgelines.

Ten years ago, who'd have thunk you'd see people boasting about the Korean designs like Hyundai and Kia and Honda's being at the top of 'least desireable' lists. IMO, it's their own move.

Speaking of Hyundai, I just heard the Elantra has heated rear seats. Very nice, and about time.

<---- thinking of trading in for a Hyundai soon.

We looked into buying a used Sonata since my wife and I both liked the styling and warranty. After a test drive, the car we were looking at had a 2nd gear problem, but what killed it was we discovered their 10/100,000 warranty is for new cars only.

We bought an '07 Ford Fusion a week later with a 100,000 mile warranty for less money and ended up with a much nicer car.

The car was so bad Honda apologized for making it.

Does this really surprise you?

The Koreans are doing the same thing that the Japanese did in the 70's. They're letting the big guys do all the marketing research and basic design, then they build their cars based on the market leader and dump it for less money. We'll see the Chinese doing the same thing as soon as they are allowed into this country.

chinese cars right now, are so bad it is sad almost. I think TDI and CRD are letters we may see more of. Hybrids just dont interest me really.. the bmw 335d does, 240 hp and 416 ft lbs torque and it rides nice. even if they dont make them anymore, they did for a while.. which means a good used market.electric full maybe.. but i think the prius is just too slow to suit me.. a jetta tdi does the same performance, granted not as reliable as a toyota.. but less parts to break, but is cheaper and more proven. as for trucks, just get a used turbo diesel and be done with it.
We spent 6800 dollars on ours, and with a few tweaks..was a great rig. 240k miles and she is still going.. new glowplugs now she cranks right up. diesel may not be as polite as hybrids, and as hippie freindly, but its proven and it works. :sing:
