Had posted in the Christmas party thread, but this needs more exposure. I called Bills and they really have no clue on what options there are to run an iPod into the PA. They said they have a CD player and can tie in a loptop into the PA, but I'm not sure how. I'm bringing some cables and mike jack, but I need a backup if what I bring fails.

Does ANYONE have a stand alone iPod player w/ good speakers or any thing what would play music from the line out of a mp3 player? Hopefully we won't need it and we can use the existing stuff in the room, but I need a back up. Please let me know if you can help me out.

Thanks!!

I have a really old aiwa mini cd system that I could take. Also have a small Energy home theater sub I could hook up to it. It won't charge an ipod, but you can connect one to it.

Just got home and plugged everything in, played some itunes through it. Sounds decent enough for drunk people, and gets pretty loud. Let me know if I should bring it. FYI, the CD player does not work.

I can also do a playlist on my ipod, in case nobody else has volunteered. I have everything from Frank Sinatra to LMFAO.

Would you bring it please? That will be our back up. I have an iPod full of Christmas music and dance music, but again, I have strange tastes.
