Roger Waters - The Wall - RBC Center - July 9th 2012

In case you Pink Floyd/Waters fans haven't heard, Roger is doing a second pass through the US and hitting venues that were not part of the initial US tour. He will be in Raleigh on 7/9/2012. Pre-sales via Roger's site (they use a lottery system for presales) started this morning with sales to the general public starting on Friday. I haven't attended a major concert in years, so I have (until now) missed out on the high prices on big name acts. But as a Pink Floyd/Waters fan, I regretted not going when the tour was in the US earlier and I suspect this may be the last time he tours the US so I bit the bullet and bought tickets today.

The only thing I hate about Rodger Waters vs Pink Floyd is he HAS to have bass too loud in the mix. I might get tix to see it, saw Floyd in 94, might as well complete the set

I saw Roger Waters back in 2006 during the Dark Side tour, it was unbelievable. All the band members who played with him were top notch, up to and including the girl who sang the vocals in Greatest Gig in the Sky. They sounded like the album recording. It was magical. :mrgreen:

I kinda wish I was old enough to have known what music was back when Pink Floyd was touring. :oops:

I will definitely go see him in Raleigh, assuming I'm willing to part with the required number of arms and legs for the ticket price. :roll:

I really want to go see the Australian Pink Floyd Show. I hope they come to the states soon.
