OK, that was funny, still giggling at that one and you're probably right. Pam has already asked how long I intend to keep this one. I said at least till the end of the year 8)

If I can fit 4 stock legal wheel/tire combos inside the 2011 GT, I might have to send Michael Westerfield a PM. When he buys his own 09 WRX, then maybe he'll want to sell me his GT for a good price :).

Silly honda boy. Race tires belong ON the car, not in it!

IOW, no you're not fitting 4 295 wide tires inside the car. 8)

Actually, if you're not afraid of them riding beside you, you MIGHT be able to fit them in, one in the trunk, two in the back and one in the passenger seat?

1 in passenger seat, 1 in back seat, and 2 in trunk plus tools and jack dispersed through out won't work?

What a piece of redneck crap....I guess I'll buy a STR S2000 then. :)

EDIT: See the ninja edit now :).

This is how I roll:

it is best NOT to drive in anger on wet streets. NO problem stepping the rear end out. I will say VA traffic near DC and Reston coupled w/ rain truely makes for a bad day, unless you're driving home your bullitt!

The day I picked up my Lotus Elise complete with the track package and associated r-comps already installed it was 34F. I basically got the delivery done and it started raining like hell with snow flurries mixed in. And I drove it straight back from CONNECTICUT in that shit. We had to go across the corner of Manhattan to get headed out of there, and then through DC traffic, the whole nine. I'm not joking when I say it was one of the worst days of driving in my life. That thing was so dicey everywhere.

So I feel your pain. Enjoy the new toy. Looks to be a nice deal on a very good car.

The only serious problem I have is deciding where to run next year. As it sits, this car is perfect for STX, but this car sucks in STX, but all I have to do is add tires and I'm done. I also like the way the car sits and drives. VERY tough to take this back to stock.

You and Jason Mauldin need to talk.

Ummmm...what? I hate to do it you Rodney, but I call bullsh*t on that. If you got that figure from the information center in the cluster, well let's just say it VERY optimistic. If you got it from actual math (fill the tank, drive, fill the tank, divide the numbers) I'm sorry, but I still don't believe it. My car gets *maybe* 22-24 headed down I-95 to CMP cruising at 75MPH and I have 3.55 gears. If you have 3.73's there's no way the gas mileage could actually go up.

Congrats on the new car.

Can't argue on the BS call right now, all my data is off of the trip computer. I'll watch it over the next few days as we travel over the holidays and put some real math into it. Report back later and see how off it is.
