BTW, did anyone notice that FS is the only stock class to actually do down this go-round? The Bullitt is sounding pretty fun and clears 285's??

BTW, the Mini Cooper "Type S" on Capital is in fact sans-sunroof to add to the saga. They're asking $19k if the mulletmoosewangbullet deal goes south. But then again, you're no longer dealing with Carmax so you're probably on cruise control with this transaction comparitively speaking.

Looked at this on line and it does indeed have a sunroof, so no joy on this one. VA is still looking good. Seller should have my deposit by now.

Hey, and only 2 1/2 pages to go to hit 30! Epic!

Good luck finding someone to mount 710s for you. Pretty sure you won't get Jeb to mount them, unless you go for something a lot narrower than the 285s the Westerfields ran last year.

Anyway, hope to see you arrive in a green machine at the Christmas party.

What are your thoughts on TIRe class? At least you get 2 years out of set of tires....

I think we'll be making a lot of 2-3 and 3-2 shifts, based on the revs/mile numbers for 18" Direzzas on the Tire Rack site. Beyond that, I hate the idea of going to slower setup. Of course, if you ask me while I'm changing tires before or after an autocross, I may give you a different answer.

Assuming my plans work out, I'm either going to be running ESP-tir or stx next year.

Ahhhhh, light at the end of the tunnel, just hope it's not a train. Carmax is now out of my life, my old loan is settled. Have cashier's check in hand to purchase the car, have my deposit back and the quote from the ins company is only a marginal increase over the 328. Plan on meeting the owner Jim in VA tomorrow at noon. Jordan and I are heading up, so this should be a fun trip!

I wouldn't go that far, but there is a very high Wrangler Jeans/extra large belt buckle coefficient.

I've never had a mullet, wrangler jeans, or large belt buckle. Kind of like you own three Minis, are thin, neat, but *aren't ghey.

*OK, so the last part was just an assumption.

respectfully, while i am famous for less than i am capable of understanding, merely trying to understand the poetry of Robert Frost and how such works could possibly mold young minds to acheive greater things seems to be my preoccupation this evening..

If it makes you feel any better, the other day I walked into a Ford dealership (for the first time in my life), looking for a paint match for Grabber Orange (another story). I sat in a 2012 GT500 and it felt really, really, reallllly nice.... bad thoughts now going on in my head....
