Our neighbor here at work had a really nice car trailer stolen last night.

I'll get some more specifics, but what I know is it was a ~20ft open all-aluminum car trailer. It was NEW (they sell trailers).

The thieves went around behind our building, opened some gates to the horse farm behind us, then actually drove THROUGH the horse barn to get to the backside of the trailer sales lot property to hook up the trailer, then just drove out the same way they came in. The front of the trailer sales lot is right on Hwy 70 near Smithfield, and they have it well fenced with a heavy duty locked gate out front. So the thieves must have done their research on this, it wasn't a spur of the moment kind of thing.

So, keep an eye out for a really good deal on a nice open aluminum car trailer- and feel free to pass on any info if you happen to see something like this.

You have a VIN or other unique identifiers of the trailer? Color, pull behind, 5th wheel, tire rack, what ever....
