June meeting at Tylers Tap Room in Apex

So you asked for it and it's here. I have verbally committed to Tyler's Tap Room in Apex for our next meeting. It a decent sized room that can hold ~40 folks. We have a $300 minimum in regard to food and drinks and 20% gratuity built in and I'm on the hook for this amount on my CC. I also have to sign a contract and send in ASAP, but as of now, we have the room from 6-9:30 this coming Wednesday. There is no special meeting room menu, we can order off of the regular menu.

What I DO NEED is a rough head count of members attending the meeting, so PLEASE let me know. There were only a few tables in the room and they'll need to add more.

OK, so new meeting place established. We'll have a forum discussion on this after the meeting and decide if this will work for future meetings. The menu and location info is here....

Bernie and I will be there, though I must admit that Apex is a haul for us. Just saying........

Yes, very much understand this is not optimum, but we have very few choices in regard to a place to meet. I think someone mentioned the mex place in N Raleigh as an option. We can check on that one if you like and I still can follow up w/ Rushhour karting and Bucks Billiards.

We'll give this a try and go from there....

So Rodney, you have to prepay for $300+60 and then get paid back if the total of everyones food/beer+tip exceeds $360? And if it does not exceed $360, then only the ammount spent is credited back to you?

If Rodney is willing to drive there, then no one can complain...he lives in South Carolina or Georgia or something :mrgreen:

I'll be there. Since we sign in each month, we should have a good idea about typical attendance levels for the summer months, right? Seems like lately it's been a steady 30-40 members at each meeting. I saw post about NC Beer night on Wednesdays--if that's still the case, you know I'll be doing my part to meet the minimum!

Actually, high 20's is the average.

Usually less during the summer months. Perhaps good beer will bring more out.

Too bad... it's practically in my backyard.
