word has it Art that there are a few BB-Q places in Wilson with supple amounts of meeting space. maybe it is time the Cone-Chasers move a wee bit East. again? no?

given the info-age we live in i vote for a tele-conference meeting.

Great idea, except you didn't take commuting on I-40 east out of the equation. Or course, SUPPLE amounts of meeting space sounds very appealing, so that becomes my new primary requirement. Anybody who checks out a restaurant for club meeting use should ask the manager if the meeting room is supple. Forget everything else.

Except for Gwen's & Bernie's convenience. That's my next new primary requirement. I move that all future club meetings be held in the Baake's kitchen.

sounds supple to me Art. :)

Art, you're the man! I was just saying how I've kept out of this, but not looking forward to driving to BFE for our meetings. I think the Baake's kitchen is doable! Goodness knows we've got beer! Art, are we the only ones for Durham?

As stated in the "other" thread, we moved the TZC meeting to Tyler's tap room in Apex. Big room, plenty of parking...and its Tyler's TAP room.

I can solve this conflict: Tyler's in Chapel Hill is the first and best location!

Too small. What, 5 bar stools and 8 tables for eating :).

But I do admit I was a frequent there when I lived in CH in college and their food was definitely better than Durham when they first opened, but Durham has without a doubt improved food wise.

OK, bad news here. Natty Greenes has a serious set of restrictions + limited menu + $500 minimum food order to use their room, so Natty's is no longer an option. We are currently chasing down some other leads and Tylers in Apex is still on the list.

I'll post back as soon as I can on a new meeting location. We also had someone mention Bucks Billiards in Cary. Any feedback on this place?

My vote is for Tyler's in Apex. They don't require food purchases to get their private room like Natty Greens. Plus Wednesday is NC Beer Night!

Just saying :).

Guess I need to take a hint  I'm waiting on a call from Andrea. She handles all party room bookings for the 3 Tylers. I'll post back as soon as I hear from her.
