Looks like even less television will be available on Apple TV now, or at least the price will be doubling.

If there's a show I gotta watch, Apple TV is the preferred way of doing it since the image quality is great, and no commercials means I can actually watch the show without being interrupted every 10 minutes. What I don't get is how the networks can't make a profit when I pay apple $1 to watch a 30 minute TV show. How much are they making off of advertising on a 30 minute show?

Commercials? Oh you mean those small flashes that happen when I hit FF on my DVR?

I DVR pretty much all the TV I watch these days, so commercials aren't an issue for me any longer. I also doubt anyone on this forum watches more TV than I do.
