I finished reading the Ben Collins book over the weekend. Not a bad read at all. More of a chronicle of a young guy who wants to race for a living and the things that pop up along the way. Certainly his Top Gear stint plays a role, but the book also includes his family, racing history, military service, stunt work on movies, etc.
Collins certainly didn't treat this as a Top Gear expose, the BBC's opinion not withstanding. It does however add some interesting insights to the episodes he was in.
