It's going to be on Tuesday, December 21st. The Middle East special is going to be on Boxing Day. Then the rest of Series 16 is going to start on January 23rd.

Weird series for Top Gear. :shock:

They posted a trailer with some footage of VIR. Didn't see any cars not driven by the hosts but someone's tow vehicle is in it.

For like half a second, but I made it! Red Cayman (yes, it looks like a 997 from the front). That's me driving. Woot! That's at 28:17 in from the Pirate Bay torrent version.

Notable stuff is how their "Blue Ridge Parkway" time was mostly back and forth on the viaduct right near Grandfather. And their introduction to the show looked to be in the Grandfather parking lot at the top. Several of their "road" shots are the road up to the top of Grandfather, which has a single yellow line in the middle (and is private, not a public road), so it's easy to spot. Also, as they "leave" the Parkway they do it on highway 421, and the big stone wall you see in the background several times is right at the top of the mountain where 421 crosses under the BRP. All very close to my mountain house.

Very cool indeed.

Marty, just get it via torrent. I'm not sure how anyone could "forward" it to you easily at 750MB (and I think I got the lower res version).

Anything higher than zero on a show that gets viewed by probably 500M+ people is, I would say, good!
