It was good, but I think I'm going to evoke some of my presidential powers and change a few things up next year. Feedback I've heard was this was more of a business meeting than a party. Got me to thinking about the party as a whole.

We need some tweaks....

I'm thinking music and dancing as a start. Everyone sits at the tables and don't move or interact w/ anyone else other than the folks at their table.

That needs to change.

Music? Dancing? Bah...

That floor space looks pretty good for some RC car action - maybe a slot car table?

Set up teams across tables to get some interaction and do driver changes.

I was thinking about that - what about teams of 2 with one person on steering and one on gas and brake - like that TGUK episode.

2 PCs running a simple sim like Live for Speed - one projector showing the spectator cam.

Hilarity and/or fistfights ensue!

I suck at video cames, but I like that idea!

+1 for slot cars. I think there is still a big hobby store in Wilson that might be willing to bring something over if they understand what a bunch of car nerds we are. I be Bowie knows them.

Wow, is that place still there? I think it was called the Antique Barn.

+1 for any type of game and bonus points for making it car related. I'd never been to a party at Bills, but man that banquet hall is pretty spacious.

Ooohh... We could perhaps incorporate a "worst X-mas sweater" competition decided by applause to get things rolling...

The winner gets a free auto/rallycross or tire change, etc...???

Edit: is that a freaking baby goat?
