so The Kid rolls in this evening fresh off a week of volunteerism with ASP spouting terms like OSB and lumber and "the site".

i swear she grew two inches in a week, and apparently is fully certified with a chop saw. i checked, she still has ten fingers.

are we as a club fully convinced that we can not, in any way shape or form, provide some aspect of driver's training for 15 year old permit holders?

i can't say that i'm fully signed off on a chop saw.

That's funny. You think your kids grow fast when they are little, now it is exponential.

Back on topic. Selfishly, I would be a big supporter of that if did something like that at the AX site in Greenville. I would put some money into it, you know, Street Survival skills sponsored by CHA. Ive always wanted to help with The Bmw stuff but it has never been a time I could. Any other ideas. This would be back to "give back to the community"

What is ASP?

Appalachian Service Project, Church's take work teams of teen agers into the mountains to do repair/build work on people's house who can't afford to fix. My church usually does it and it is in VA or WVA.

Steve is still the only person I know with a nameless child. Granted her real name is too long, but still she has one.

I agree with Walter, she must take after her Mom if she can properly use tools. :P
