+1 for Asuka - love the buy one get one free rolls

Kanki has the same deal and I saw yesterday that Champa has the same deal Sunday through Wednesday in Brier Creek.

Also, there is a brand new sushi place at the corner of Morrisville-Carpenter and Davis Drive that is suppose to be good. Will be checking that out soon.

Ok, there have been alot of recommendations for Asuka. Where is it? I think we are going to have to try it soon.

You should try it for lunch. Go towards Morrisville on Aviation Pkwy. Take a left at 54 and it will be the first small shopping center on the left.

BTW, if you decide to go for lunch, be aware that Asuka is only open for lunch on weekdays, not weekends. Ask me how I know. Strangely, the sign in their front window specifically lists lunchtime hours on weekends, which I brought to the attention of the owner several weeks ago, but they still haven't changed it.

We eat a lot of Sushi and we like Haru on the corner of Oberlin and Glenwood in the Hairy Tweeter shopping center. You can get rolls you can't get everywhere and for every $20 you spend you get a mark on your card - 10 marks and you get $20 off. Prices are reasonable and the rolls are really good.

Waraji is our second favorite.

Also Kaz' in Washington DC is good but a bit far.

Went to Asuka today for lunch, and went in hungry, don't do that. Got there at 1:30 and hadn't eaten all day. Got out for $56, but we ate some great food. Jordan and I split the shshimi plate and 4 rolls along w/ 2 tall Kirin beers and walked out very satisfied. Thanks all for the recommendation.

Sushi Thai in Cary for me. Been going there for years and have gotten to know the owner. (He brought me a present from Thailand on his last visit.I have eaten there alot!) Nat is the head sushi chef and is excellent. He makes a spicy fish salad with yellowtail and avacado that is awesome. Lobster bomb is a popular appetizer there. Not on menu, pudding roll. Ask about it. If it sounds good to you they will make it. You will not be sorry. Not the cheapest,
but the best, most consistent I have found in the area. My .02.
