I plan to save this thread to see if Michael is still as happy two years from now.

BMW wasn't even on my list of cars to buy, it just happened to fit my current needs and budget, and it was available now. My heart has been set on either an STi or a JCW Clubman, but I don't have the cash for either of those, so I'm making do with an old M3 for now. If in two years I'm still driving the M3 by choice I'll be surprised. (Yes, by all accounts the M3 is a better car than those other two, but if we all bought cars based on reviews there's only be a couple of models in the world.)
