While it was only up for 30 minutes this morning I think quite a few people got a sneak peak at the new 2011 Sonata Turbo. The article said

Quote:
Hyundai used to be an automotive punchline, but with the new Hyundai Sonata Turbo dishing up a cracking 274HP and 269 lb-ft of torque and 34 MPG from a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0-liter direct-injection four-cylinder we wonder: who's laughing now?

the article has now been pulled.

I've said it before, but Hyundai is really putting out a great product now. I have no idea what is changed within their company, but it's an astounding turn around. - AB

It's now official:

Quote:
Want the power of a V6 without the guilt? The all-new Sonata 2.0T has a 4-cylinder GDI turbocharged engine that gives you a projected 274-horsepower to work with and an impressive 22 city/ 34 highway projected MPG. And you get all the performance and style that comes with owning a Sonata.

This all-new hybrid has all the style and premiums you expect in a Sonata, along with a projected 37city/39 highway MPG. And unlike other hybrids on the market, it uses a breakthrough lithium polymer battery pack, which runs cooler, lighter and is shapeable for optimum packaging.

Wait I should feel guilty for having a V6? I guess having a 6L means I should just go hide in shame.
