Well, you probably can't tell it, but I'm a happy user of rogaine foam. Last October I looked in the mirror and it got to the point where even I couldn't stand the amount of hair loss I was suffering. So to that I said, what the hell, and bought the 4 pack of the foam.

I'm here to tell you that the stuff works. This 4 pack I bought was supposed to only last a month per can. I'm just now wrapping up my last can of the original pack, and that was bought back in Oct of '08 (not '09). On the average, I use it once a day and about 3-4 times a week. While I don't have that cursed look of too much hair like our prez (ducks from Dustin), I do see growth where none was before. It took me 30 years to loose it, so I'd be happy to regain some over the next 5 years.

The hair that's coming in is thinner than the other I have, but it is hair. I assume it will thicken up as time goes on. I use about a golf ball size of foam and just rub it in. Am I willing to do this everyday to keep my hair? You betcha! Just like brushing teeth, matter of habit now.

So, speaking as a highly (non)endorsed spokes person for rogaine foam, I recommend it!

Rodney, don't think of it as loosing hair, think of it as "Gaining Face".

OK, so now I'm tempted. Tired of getting too much cranial sun at rally-X.

Since you rub it in with your hands, have you been getting any hair growing on your hands too? I'd be interested in that, my hands get cold in the winter and it would be nice to grow some fur.

A "palm" sander takes care of that issue nicely.... 8)

Lost a bunch of hair when I was 16-17, and started it when I was 17 per my dermatologist's recommendation. At 38, I have more hair than I did when I was 17. You have to use it consistently forever and ever. It does a good job at keeping what you have, and slowly growing new hair in certain spots on the head.

Do I still have a receding hairline? Yep, but it's the same as it was 20 years ago. I can live with that.

The put a kid up on the video board at the UNC game last night who looked to be maybe 9 and was wearing one of those. Probably the highlight of his year. Pretty cool stuff. Pathetic crowd otherwise, though. *sigh*

Everyone is probably scared that Roy will have them tossed out if they make too much noise.

There were lots of jokes about that last night, believe me! The ushers were even having fun with it. Heck, I think the UNC fans should have gotten together and all bought Presbyterian shirts to wear to a game just to do it before the Dukies have a chance in Cameron. :)

I still couldn't believe that when I read it. If college basketball turns into tennis and golf I'll stop watching it.

Eh, Roy screwed up, knows it, apologized for it. He didn't ask to throw him out, only for security to check him out. They probably screwed up in throwing him out, too. He was a little drunk and not in his proper seat, though apparently he *could* have produced a ticket for it as it was an empty seat belonging to some buddies. Hard to know if security even gave him a chance once they got him to the aisle, though.

I don't believe you'll see Roy interacting with ANY fans for quite some time, though.

Why did he need to be 'checked out' in the first place? I'm not clear on the 'whole' story it seems.

That's just it...he didn't. Apparently there was some very NASTY stuff that had just happened with Syracuse fans and UNC players in NYC that was fresh in Roy's mind. Combine that with a fan yelling at a UNC player from the VERY UNC section (as in most of those seats where this guy was are given out by the basketball office to friends and family, so Roy was pretty sure he wasn't in the right place...or worse, was a UNC fan that was yelling "miss it" at a UNC player for some strange reason). So Roy overreacted and yelled back at the guy to shut up. The guy said "who me?" And Roy said "yeah, you." So the guy puffed up his chest and pointed at his PC shirt and yelled "Go Presby!" or something similar.

Roy didn't like being challenged like that and then sent security after him. Bad move. Should have just left it alone. And he said as much.

The guy claims he wasn't drunk, but folks around him in the stands have said he definitely was. They also said he definitely didn't do anything to warrant getting thrown out, so I don't think they were defending Roy, per se. So in my mind everyone acted badly in the situation, but the cameras are on Roy, he's the head coach, and he just can't get down in the slop with the hog. Otherwise he's gonna get covered in mud, obviously.

That guy should have been in my seats in the Dean Dome. If he had been, there's no way that anybody on the floor could have heard what he was yelling, no matter how loud.

I fear we've deviated just a hair from the subject of this thread...
