Since I installed the larger front brakes on the mustang, the spare donut won't fit any more on the front. I've also added a torsen rear diff, so there is no clutch pack to allow for slipping, so I can't run it on the back either. I'm in the process of trying to assemble a full sized spare. The stock 235/50 tire won't fit into the wheel well with out deflating it, so I'm thinking a slightly smaller tire should do the trick on one of my older stock wheels. Anybody have a tire that's somewhat decent and holds air?

The Camaro guys just pickup a steelie from a base model Camaro and run a big wheel spacer on it. All the tire/wheel combos for Camaro are the same overall diameter. Not sure if that's a possibility or not. Sounds like maybe you already have a wheel though?

I'm not sure if this helps, but that is the same size as a stock 350z 18in front wheel/tire. I know some guys have put Mustang wheels on 240's before. You might look into it. Jason would know more I'm sure.

Yeah, I can use one of my stock wheels and 1.25" spacer to clear the brakes. Looks wonky, but it will work well enough to at least get me home. My current donut is a 17", so that doesn't fit over the brembos. All I really need is just a used tire to put on the wheel.
