UPDATE (1/16/13) - DEPOSIT RECEIVED, HOLDING FOR BUYER

Returning my RX-8 to Stock legal form, so I have no need for this wheel & tire package anymore. I bought these brand new in Spring 2011 and used them for STX class autocross (13 events) and 2 track events at VIR, approx. 3000 miles total. Never daily driven. The wheels are quite literally like new - no marks or damage whatsoever. The tires are worn evenly and have ~40-50% tread remaining (~4.5/32" remaining vs. 8.8/32" when new), they have never hit a single pothole or been damaged/repaired in any way. All tires were balanced by Discount Tire and ride perfectly/smoothly.

Wheel specs are as follows:
Enkei RPF1; 17 x 9"; ET45; 15.9 lbs. ea.; Bright Silver paint; 5-114.3 bolt pattern

These wheels fit RX-8, S2000, late model Mustang, and many others.

Current Tire Rack price for this set-up, brand new, is $1648 + S/H ($1028 for wheels, $620 for tires).

Asking $850 for the set. Additional / close-up photos can be seen at http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y253/quisk/Enkei%20RPF1%20Hankook%20RS3/

Please contact me by PM with any questions or if interested. Located in Cary.

Wonder how well 255's would fit on the stock 18" wheels? Any scrubbing at all with the 17's?

I ran 255/35/18 Hoosier A6s on the OEM wheels and had no rubbing. Same with the 255/40/17 set-up I'm selling - no rubbing. The wheel offset is lower on the 17" set-up than the OEM 18".

Keith if Steve takes the wheels, I may be interested in the tires, depending on the price... thanks.
