So while I hate to sell this car since it's been a great DD and very fun to autox, I think my plans for the SMF build are going to cost way more than I want to spend and make it more of a dedicated autox car and less so of a track car. I want something RWD/hardtop/more powerful that will be fun in both autox/track.
Here are the original details of the sale and my additions/maintenance will come after:
Quote:
Engine and Drivetrain
- 89 DOHC ZC - 115 whp with PM7 ECU (7200 rpm rev limit)
- Timing belt, water pump, tensioner, rear main, PCV system, SI throttle cable, and spark plugs replaced at 225k
- DC sport 4-2-1 header for EG civic, port matched and O2 moved to the a-pipe
- Fidanza 12lb flywheel
- New (stock) clutch at 220k
- New cat and fuel filter at around 215k
- RSR exhaust, muffler painted flat black. Looks stock aside from the tip and has a nice deep sound to it
- HASPORT d-series engine mounts (softest urithane)
- Stock transmission with GM syncromesh, syncros in good shape. ES shifter bushings
- New NAPA lifetime axles and hoses at 176k (still have the receipts)
- New distributer around 220k
Chassis
- No rust at all!
- 9005 low beams
- DA Integra seats
- Road race shifter that I made for a design project in college. Stock throws, just next to the steering wheel
Brakes
- EX knuckles with type R calipers and 11.2" rotors, Steel brake lines in the front. I also have the stock calipers if you want to run 10.3"
- Front wheel bearings, lug studs (.75" longer from TL) and ball joints were replaced at 220k
- CRX Si rear disk brakes
- 260v brake booster with 1" master cylinder
Suspension
- Koni yellow sport externally adjustable shocks
- Ground control spring perches (for Koni shocks) with 350f 250r springs.
- ST rear sway bar. I made mounting brackets so it doesn't interfere with the exhaust (stock brackets interfere)
- RTA bushings replaced at 225k
Extra parts
- Parts SI transmission and the bearings needed to rebuild a trans. I was planning on swapping the final drive into the one I have and replacing the bearings, but I never got around to it
- 2 or 3 sets of stock brake rotors
- A lot of the stock parts I pulled off the car, including calipers, knuckles, brake booster, AC system, seat rails etc.
Jason removed the ITR calipers/rotors and put DA integra calipers and 10.3" rotors on it and put 14" SI wheels on it with brand new all season tires.
Since I bought it I've done the following:
Maintenance:
-Compression test: 175/170/172/168
-After a 1200 mile trip to Northeast PA, it burned no oil and I got 46 mpg (if I drive the shit out of it, I get a scant 35mpg)
-After a 25 autox run weekend at the non points event plus there and back drives, it burned no oil
-Rotella T5 oil change with PureOne filter
-New Sony rear 6.25" speakers
-New NGK ignition wires
-New valve cover gasket (little oil weeping past spark plug tube seals)
-New NGK spark plugs
-Energy suspension bushings in rear LCAs
-Relocated battery (brand new Oddessy PC680) to rear storage compartment to allow spare and jack to be reinstalled in the rear of car.
-Brake bleed with Super ATE
-New brake pads
-New alternator
-Removed the long ass shifter and put an ITR shiftknob in it
-Rebuilt the shift linkage (shifts like a gated Ferrari now)
Spares/Extras:
-Set of 4k mile Koni SAs (courtesy of Ryan Holtons barely driven STS car

)
-Black Nardi leather racing steering wheel
-More front Energy suspension bushings I didn't get around to install
-2035 and 4040 brake proportioning valves (the 4040 is recommended when the rear si disk swap is performed)
When I bought it, it had 232k miles on the chassis (90k on motor) and I think I've put less than 3k miles on it.
$3300 with everything from the original sale plus the extras above
$3000 minus the extra konis, steering wheel, bushings and ITR calipers
