Hi there. I have a near-abandoned 1989 Acura Integra project car that I keep meaning to dust off and get running right but I have noticed every time I try to work on it, something else in my life fails and it gets pushed to the backburner. It was going to be a street-legal rallycross car.
I'm willing to sell it for slightly-more-than-scrap-value to move it out of here in the next 3 days. If there are no takers I'll probably keep working on getting it running right and price it accordingly. I'm sure it's something simple. The rebuilt engine is probably worth $300-400 by itself.
If you're interested, make me an offer over scrap value and we'll talk.
The good
- 89 integra, D16a1, 5-speed - Engine rebuilt with new rings, bearings - Rebuilt head, valve job, new stem seals, etc - new KYB GR2 shocks all around - strut brace - starts, runs, and drives. Perfect idle. - Would probably pass inspection with new wipers - Decent tread all-season tires on 14" steelies
The bad
- Engine won't take any load. Misfires and bucks under load. I bet it's a distributor problem, or some sensor - It's a hideously ugly gold 4-door car with a red rear bumper. Lots of dents and scrapes - Interior is stripped of carpet, headliner, back seats. Door panels and dash are intact - Been sitting for a few months with the windows open, a but musty inside but not terrible - Currently no battery - No AC or PS - Cracked windshield
Reply if you want to see a picture, I'll try to get one up.
