(ed note: This has been a great car for us but it was time to get Kendra back into something track-capable. Great DD, small family, or new driver's car. Mechanically very robust, unlike the BMW we bought to replace it.... I will miss a lot of things about the PT including the fact that my wife NEVER complained about anything, and other than a light bulb which went out I haven't had to touch in a year...)

2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser Limited - Cranberry on black leather, excellent, auto, 77k, $5950

Excellent mechanical and cosmetic shape, extensively maintained. This has been a great car for us for the last few years - drives like a much more expensive car, very roomy inside yet quite small outside and easy to park. Nice creature comforts, leather heated seats, great stereo, everything works and operates as good as new, not a squeak or rattle. It’s a fun, interesting, and (I think) a very nice looking car with very convenient and flexible storage with fold-flat seats and lots of space for carrying large items. It has been very durable and reliable and I expect it will operate without a hitch for years to come. Very solid car.

Paint is in excellent condition and interior is in great shape with little to no noticeable wear. New front brake pads, new timing belt, new water pump, recent Falken Ziex 512 tires with about ½ tread remaining, new battery last year. Limited package includes power sunroof, power windows, power door locks, power driver’s seat, heated seats, 16” chrome alloy wheels. Includes 2 sets of keys with keyless entry.

Clean carfax, clear title, no accidents, excellent original paint. North Carolina car its whole life, no rust or other issues. Only flaws are a couple of small door dings that could easily be repaired and few small scratches which wouldn’t come out with a buffer. One of the nicer ones you will see.

Joking aside, they are really nice little family cars. My brother in law has one and I was amazed at the fit and finish and how well it has held up.

Well,my daughter is actually buying this. I drove it home to Greenville last night. It is a great little different car. It sits very upright which I like on boring four lanes. I literally dreamed about driving a milk truck last night. Problem with. Uying something from Mike is I can't have any fun fixing stuff. He wanted to buff a scratch his kid put on it 5 minutes before I got there but I wouldn't let him because I want to do something
