I have the headlight from my dad's 2007 BMW 3 Series. It has the articulating light. It has a scrape across the front that may clean up a little bit but I don't think will come completely out. Worked when it was removed from the car. I think the shop wanted $1000 for the replacement  How about $100 OBO.

Any suggestions on where to peddle it would be welcomed.

Ebay, Craigslist or Bimmerforums.

I have no idea what those things are worth, but you might want to do some research on the cost of aftermarket replacement lights and try to set the price somewhere less than that if possible. Even if it's OEM and cost $1k new, it's "damaged" and most people aren't willing to pay much for stuff like that unless they don't have another option (i.e.- aftermarket parts)

Sounds like bi xenon with adaptive headlights. Typically those are like 1300 give or take from the dealer. I would throw it up on ebay and list the part number.
