I did a search and did not find anything. So, if I am rehashing something previously discussed, please send me to the correct thread. I am posting this in the Track section as I do not know anyone in the rest of the forums.

Is there a standard THSCC "business card" or template of sorts that can be used for printing cards? Quite often when I am talking about track time/HPDEs/TTs with someone and doing my best to convince them that this is the best way to waste money, I usually end up writing down the THSCC website and club info on a scrap piece of paper. It would be nice if I could simply whip out a club business card with all the quick info already printed. Something that has the folllowing:

- club title and logo
- website info (for autocross and track maybe?)
- maybe some contact info for the officers or your own contact info

My thoughts are to NOT have the club pay for these and distribute them to all members, but rather to have an agreed upon template that we as members can download and print off as needed.

Just a thought rolling around in my head several weeks ago as I wrote info on yet another scrap piece of paper while at the parts store....

Opinions? Ideas? Smacks to the back of the head?

Kevin

It's a good idea. Your idea. Come to the next meeting and bring it up as new business. You're like two stop lights away, Dude!

two stop lights away... har har!

I think Brad Mackey has something like this made up, but I'm not sure. I know he made some nice ones for us track team officers on his own.

Ok, Ok, so I admit to being dyslexic. I read that as Morrisville. My bad. It’s still a good idea, and I’d bring it up at the meeting for you Kevin if you’d like it to be addressed. I actually like the template idea. It would probably need to be put on the forum in a "members only" area, however.

Yeah, I have yet to make it to a meeting due to the distance.

Please feel free to bring up the idea at a future meeting. And putting a template in a members only area for download is exactly what I had in mind.

Vincent, I didn't know that you lived next to Rudino's! Cool, good for you. :brow:

If Vincent would ACTUALLY list where he's at (just like I don't) ... you'd see he actually does drive an hour and a half (2 hours?) for the meetings.

I've never made to one either FWIW ... but I have been to numerous Triangle Z meetings (just none in a while) :(

Yeah, I figured he probably lives as far away as I do when he made the joke. I just couldn't let one jab go without giving one back. I spend most Wednesdays working an hour from my house - in the opposite direction as Durham.

His point was noted: I should at least attempt to make it once a month or so. Who's going to cook dinner, help with homework and ensure my two precocious pre-teens actually get in bed on time? LOL
