Fast Orange Hand Cleaner.
Slick.
Fast.
Won't screw up the paint. Not sure if it removes wax. Probably does.

I hate working the course at autox and I must tell you about it, often.

Ditto. Just rub it lightly since it has the pumice in it. It got the cone marks and most of the tar crap off my rocker panels in one application. Although for thick tar that has set I think the 3M stuff might be the way to go.

And yes it does strip the wax off. Most wax comes off at the drop of a hat anyway. I've converted over to a polish/sealer that lasts for months.

I use a product called QuicShine 99. It's easy to use, works well and also contains wax. It comes in a spray can and you just spray it on and wipe it off. I bought it from a vendor at a track event but it's available on the web. I'll be at the VIR THSCC event if you want to give it a try.
