Chad and I have signed up for the Enduro Karts - we need 2 additional people (all of our friends were busy - Swear we have them!). I'll be fronting the expense, so it'll be $40 per. (regardless of whether or not we get 4).

Any volunteers for Team Camarbros?

Worst case, we bust out a hour each, lol. I mean frankly, that probably means we'll win, we don't have to worry about any other scrubs messing up our times

Scott Johnson and I did it last year. It would have been better if we hadn't been so beat from running the track all day prior to it, but it'll still be fun. Just hope you get a decent kart. Ours was ok, but at best a mid pack handler. - AB

I'd love to say I'd join you, but I'm pretty beat at that point in the day. If you still need someone, come find me after lunch on Saturday and I might consider it.

I would potentially jump at this, but... flying out of town on business trip. :( I have been wanting to do a kart enduro but my schedule keeps screwing me up.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Says the guy that took the 2nd stint, after the gas cap got tightened. That stuff burned my junk, not cool at all!

Bill Gratton, bless his heart, was my team's lead-off driver last spring and got into the lead on lap 1, just like I instructed. He knew that gas was leaking into his lap, but didn't want to give up the lead before his stint was over. He reported severe itchiness and took off for the hotel immediately after his stint. The hot tip is, 1st driver needs to make the sure the gas cap is tight. Easy to find, it's right between your knees under the steering wheel :o

Hmmm... when I went to Rush Hour Karting with Chad and some of our other friends, near the end of our Grand Prix runs, my kart was splashing some oil from somewhere - I think it was from the oil cap directly to my right.

Maybe I should check the gas cap first thing this weekend.
