You were my first, nothing can replace that. I will never forget going out on a parade lap in my 1990 BMW 5withnowpower. To paraphrase the song, it ended far to soon but oh what a day. You hooked me, I went and bought a new car the next day. For years it was only you. Yes I did flirt with some others but I always said you were my true love. The Glen did cause me to think, could there be others? We made up, no, you were my true love.

I'm so sorry, I hope this doesn't hurt you. There is nothing you could do. I can only be honest with you, Barber Motorsports Park is my new love. Her 16 turns and rapid elevation changes are just too much for anyone to resist. It is the Sirens song, she makes me feel like an F1 driver. While I don't think she will ever punish me, if she does the runoff areas are so ample and soft. Oh, and her facilities , Can you say bathroom attendant. She shows me she wants me there in so many ways. The observation area with the inside portion with 20 big screen tv's ,the several elevated observation decks with views of most of the turns and 3 straights is unbelievable.

And then there is the Museum, what can you say. 1200 motorcycles, race cars, sports cars-how is anyone with oil under their fingertips, gasoline smells on their cloths, supposed to resist that? 15 dollars in 2014 dollars to see all that. That's equivalent to the 1.50 I paid for my first Road & Track that got me in this mess. I think you can join for $50 a year. And they say Disney World is the happiest place on earth, I think not.

I hope we can still be friends.

Funny, I enjoyed that track, its pretty, the museum is great, and the statues are well.....interesting. I still prefer VIR with the qualification that I've never run the Vette there yet. At Barber it was fun to go through the Turns 14, 15,16 complex it was very busy. No time to breathe as there really is not any straight.

I preferred WG, Road America too.

JMO, Haven't met a track I really didn't like

:-)

Correct on the no time to breathe, We didn't have our drink system working but I don't think I would have ever had time to take a drink had it been working.

Drinking is a stretch .... It's more like push the button for a blast of fluid................
