This is more-or-less what we'll be up to next year:

Date - Series - Location
1/31-2/1 - LeMons - Barber
3/14-3/16 - NASA - Road Atlanta
4/5-4/6 - THSCC - VIR-N
5/2-5/2 - LeMons - CMP
6/7-6/8 - THSCC - CMP
7/4-7/5 - LeMons - Sebring
8/9-8/10 - Chump - VIR
9/6-9/7 - THSCC - VIR-F
9/19-9/20 - LeMons - CMP
10/3-10/5 - NASA - VIR

The car is currently in the garage receiving new body panels and a new engine, along with wheel bearings, brakes, and probably a bunch of other stuff.

Asphalt Ventures: (Tentative 2014 dates)
-----------------
March 1-2 ... VIR Patriot Course (2 days)
July 12-13 ... Atlanta Motorsports Park (2 days)
November (TBD) ... VIR Patriot/Grand Course *
* this would be a two day event, probably a Sunday/Monday or
Monday/Tuesday - Patriot course 1st day, Grand Course the 2nd day

AMP would be too much coming a week after Sebring.

NASA (Mid Atlantic) will be at VIR (full) 4 times (including my birthday.)

NASA (SE) will be at Road Atlanta 4 times.

I had a great time on Patriot course; we'll have to work that in again. Maybe the November event.

Hey Roger,

Bolt everything down super tight for Sebring! Everything will rattle it's way loose!
And a dedicated rain tire might help you there. That place is crazy slick in the rain. And it will, always rains at Sebring.

Looks like a fun schedule! Don't think our car would make it through lemons judging but barber is on the list of tracks I'd like to do some day.

It isn't as bad as you think. Hell the Silver Bullets got off with less than 10 laps with a 302 powered 240sx.

Don't worry about LeMons judging unless you're seriously there to win. The worst that can happen is you get a pile of penalty laps to the point where you can't win, but you still race, and the racing is the fun part.

The thing to worry about with LeMons is the licensing requirement, which is $50. No experience, judgement, or record of performance required; the sum total of the LeMons evaluation of your fitness to be on track at speed in traffic is that you managed to scrape together the grand sum of $50 and possess a state driver's license. Hilarity ensues.

EDIT - Winning may be fun too, but we wouldn't know; we're not that kind of team.

Same as Chumpcar. They sit you through a ~45 minute 'school' where they briefly cover passing rules and flags.

That must be new; I never had to go to any training.

... but don't actually enforce attendance. (we never sat through it. Kraig didn't go to it; and it was his first race with only one DE to his name. (and years of autox))

Grim Reaper Racing will be at the Lemons races at CMP (both events) and Sebring this year with the V-6 Mustang and the Austin Marina. Our long term goal is the "trifecta plus" (a win in every class and IOE). So far we have the Class "B" and "C" win and the IOE. Finished second at Summit Point last year and a few 3rds at CMP. One day....

New tires for Sebring is a must, pretty sure it will rain.

For sure every THSCC event I can attend. hope the dates Roger posted are the real deal so I can lock them in to the calendar. Not sure which cars I'll bring though... We do have Grim Reaper Racing Mustang 2.0 that will need some track time.
