You are talking about the LeMon's race, right? My issue would be that THSCC is likely going to have a DE at CMP around that same time frame. If those two don't interfere, I might be up for taking our car up there.

Yeah, Lemons. DE at CMP is a lot closer though. We'll play wait and see for now, but I'd still be interested in a ride if it's available. - AB

If the DE at CMP was just a different weekend we could all do both!

I know a guy that can work on that.

I love seeing the "Welcome to West Virginia" when I am traveling southbound, it generally means I am halfway home from Michigan! :sing:

I've been told I have to make my once-a-year trek to WV for Xmas this year, and my goal is still zero. I still can't believe your wife wants to move back there. I don't you'll ever hear mine or Cline's say that.

I love WV, it's just the people there that can be a problem!

Awesome schedule! I can't wait to run Watkins Glen, CMS full, and AMP. Three new tracks for me this year, brilliant!

Here's Simon's schedule for 2013. Hope to see some of you out there.

It looks that way for 2013. Not because we hate Lemons (I don't anyways) but the tracks, events, and dates for Chump work out better. I'd rather do everything on my schedule than CMP. Summit is tempting but I don't need any more events on the schedule!

Plus we were getting borderline difficult to pass Lemons valuation with the B20 block, and the Lemons rules were holding us back on a few things we want to freshen (bushings, etc). So it was an easy decision.

For the right track, I'd do another Lemons event in a heartbeat and just put up with the penalties. Can't say I will miss being accidentally blacked flagged several times per race.

It's also seeming like Chump is becoming a force on the east coast, and Lemons on the west. This year in any case that's the case. Will be interesting to see the entry counts at CMP. If Lemons has a better schedule in 2014 we may be back!

You do know Lemons is running the Full Course at CMP now right? That is MUCH better than the short course for sure.

As for the erroneous black flags, I'll take that over all the non-black flags that were needed at VIR. I mean the guy that put us into the wall should have gotten one don't 'ya think? You know things are out of hand when they have to stop the whole race to tell people this ain't a demolition derby. .

I know. But I have time and $$ to do about 5-6 races next year. VIR-N, VIR-F, AMP, WG, CMS, and RA all sound like more fun than CMP.

Maybe my tune will change if we ever have that kind of bad luck, but right now the driving and level of on-track enforcement of rules in Chump don't bother me or the other guys on the team.

We were discussing this a few weeks ago and you guys seemed to be one of the few cars that did get hit on way or another. Maybe your luck will hold out, or maybe ours just ran out? That was like our 11th race and we had no real damage prior to that event.

I'll say it again, the only Lemons rule I have issue with is their "no excuse for ever putting wheels off" rule. Otherwise I prefer Lemons over Chump.

As someone who was born and raised in WV... I agree with Cline!

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Wild Wild West Baby............... Chump is wide open and the likely outcome for most entrants is some kind of contact. I personally think it is getting better and will get better in the future. The fact that John was at VIR to witness the carnage helped a great deal. Case in point was this years Nelson Ledges event. Zero tolerance............... incident count was way down. There were a few less cars but I still say the enforcement is much more pinpoint with extreme prejudice.

All that being said, I would really like to continue my streak of attending first run Chump races at way cool tracks. WGI is a must do for me this year.......

That's good to hear as after the 14hr @ VIR I really wasn't a fan.
