Hey now :-) the duff car is rarely driven on the street. And I don't think his Mazda is a street car anymore.

To be fair, my Miata didn't come with ABS.

I'm with VK on this...unless your vehicle has _really_ bad ABS, it's very nice to have on track. I would venture a guess that very few of us are at a skill level where we're hindered by ABS. I do NOT subscribe to the school of thought that ABS hinders driver development, either. Square tires hinder driver development, as you can't really drive on them.

Seriously, though, I treat hitting the ABS like I treat brake lockup. Back off the pedal a whisper until I'm out of the ABS.

Thanks, Jeremy. I'll keep it in mind. I found some one to cycle the pump for me - hopefully its just air. I'll report back. :)

Did you ever find the ABS issue?

Finally! So for future reference, if you need an independant shop that can pull ABS codes and cycle your ABP pump - Campbell Auto next to Ray Price is the ticket. I've known Phil and Bruce for over 10 yrs - great guys, fair and honest.

We were able to run the pump and cycle the solenoids while bleeding the brakes and got all the air out. Also found my left front ABS sensor was out of range so we replaced that. I'm happy to report that the ABS, TCS and EBFD all work fine. :sing: No more "front brakes only" and no more flat-spotting.

And I have to say, 275s look bad-a$$ on the 6!

Yeah, but I haven't run them yet. Got them from Rodney and they seemed to work well on his Bullitt last year. I think I'm gonna need to roll the rear fenders a bit more for clearance.

Those look like my old wheels and tires. If so, they are not the K compound.

Let me help, Michael, you shouldn't have sold your old Mustangs.
