Registration is now open for our VIR-Full course event. Come join us September 7-9, 2012 for our annual John Mullis Memorial HPDE and Performance Chassis Time Trial. What could be better in the fall than 3-days on arguably one of the best road courses on the east coast? How about a discount if you sign up this weekend? Sign up by the end of the day Monday, 5/28 and you can get an extra $25 off! This special can be combined with your THSCC membership discount too! Register now! Registration fees will not be charged until August 15.

The Friday portion of this event has been canceled. We will still be running our regular DE schedule for Saturday and Sunday.

We will also be offering a discount for Novices that have done 2 events or less (to be verified by registrar after sign-up). $50 off for 2-day students and $75 off for 3-day students! This discount will be available to the first ten eligible Novices to register. This offer can't be combined with Memorial Day Discount.

Very nice. Is this event going to be the same format as last year's?

TBD. Saturday and Sunday should be normal DE format for us. Friday kind of up in the air. Might be open lapping for all but green...not sure yet. That will depend on how many people sign up and if we possibly sell some of Friday to another group. Regardless, you should get plenty of seat time.

I'm in! Hoping for seat time all three days (in green).

We'll give the Mazda the go-or-blow test . . . one more time.

Now I gotta get my annual tech done.

Signed up for all three days in the RX8. Hopefully the new BFG g-Force T/A KDW 2 tires will do just fine for this 8)

I will have nothing but gas cans loaded on the trailer coming up to the event. I'm thinking an entire tank of gas each day :?:

Will that be enough Noah   :(

Also, room reserved above the garages to stay nice and close. They as nice as the lodge rooms?

you might want to drive a little faster John, one tank a day is quite newb-ish.

the trackside suites are not quite as comfortable as the beds are a Murphy style rather than normal but overall not terrible. and they are in the paddock.

awesomness!

And yeah, the Bimmer used about a quarter tank per 30 min session, perhaps I should multiply that by a factor of 2

They aren't joking when they say I4 torque, V8 thirst.

The Miata goes through about 2.5gal in 30 minutes. :)

Pre-motor swap when I was in Green/Yellow I would be able to leave my house, fill the car on the drive up in Durham, drive 1hr to VIR, run all day, drive home. Then repeat the process on the next day without filling at VIR.

I see 10 Green novices signed up. Curious if thats a normal number or more on the light side?

Getting very excited and looking forward to this! Trailer hitch installed and tire trailer procured so I can actually bring everything I need with me.

I think that's about 1/2 of what VIR-F can hold.

Heh. It'll "hold" a LOT more. Chump is slated to have 100+ cars on track at once. (134 was the last number I recall -- not all will make it, of course.)

We usually like it to keep it to 12-15 cars per mile.
