Ok, that is what I originally thought! Good!

Let me know if you need some help filling spots. I probably know two people that would be interested in just coming out for a solo day.

Thanks!!!

Please go ahead and let people know about the event. Trying to work between "work" to get the reg site up now.

Well CRAPCANS!!!

Kevin from VIR just emailed me and said that he overlooked where they had moved a reserved Honda R&D reservation to the 15th/16th of February.

He wants to know if we could run on Feb 14th.

Well damn, that sucks. No way I'[m ditching VTD unless I want to sleep in the race car.

Any other alternate dates available Stacy?

Well... possibly the Monday AFTER the NASA event... and there's a VIR club member who's rented the track the following thursday (before the THBMW event) that we could possibly contact (though efforts to get in touch with him through VIR and Peter Krause proved fruitless already.)

So Feb 20th instead? That would be fine with me. Just let us know!

Last I heard (yesterday) Stacy was waiting to hear back from VIR. Of course all he's gotten thus far...[crickets]. I'm shocked.

Sorry guys... I did talk with VIR again yesterday, but he couldn't give me a definitive answer...

I'm waiting to hear about Monday Feb 20th ... they have to decide if they want us, or a day to install some more curbing.

Just put some cones up in the work zone.

On what portion(s) are they still installing curbing? Just give the part that is open. Full Course, North, South, Patriot...whatever!

Just put some cones up in the work zone.

they can't do that, it attracts autocrossers

So I'm starting to lose hope that something will come of this. No returned voicemails nor emails... And I'm running out of time to actually GET 18 cars to keep the price reasonable.

Would there be any interest from you guys in doing something similar (Cept maybe without the meals) at NCCAR?

We could possibly arrange a weekend or a Saturday only or something for about the same price, and probably greater flexibility in terms of track time.

Thoughts?

Stacy, you really need to post this question on the Chump / LeMons forums. Maybe bimmerforums too.

i can tell you that i got very little interest when i posted in the Eastern Region Forum of ChumpCar. that week is after the event at Road Atlanta.

VIR-N is filling up nicely i hear but very few of those teams are on the forums, and of the ones that are, very few of them are within reasonable driving distance to VIR or NCCAR.
