Seriously, I have too many things that I love to do. Racing is more prep time and money than my ADHD Jewish self can currently handle. Golfing, takes no time out the door and there I go, lots of drinking afterwards good times. Motorcycling change the oil once a year (in the bike world BMW's are the opposite of the car world, change the oil and put in gas and go) head for the mountains or coast if you are happy with the weather the next couple of days.

I got problems, I tell you, problems.

so why are you here then? shouldn't you be resting over at www.ancientduffers.com or www.beemerdouches.com ? i suppose you could take up autoX.

CLine,
I'm telling you...going W2W goes way beyond what you have done before. I love it even more than I thought I would. It's one thing to try to drive that perfect lap in TT, and a whole other thing driving EVERY where on the track trying to figure out how to pass, or not be passed and going 2 to 4 wide at places you never even thought about driving in the first place.

Jason, great post.

Kevin, great write up.

Cline has done two LeMons races at CMP. unfortunately there were mechanical issues at both events. plus we don't even want to talk about VIR in July. Cline suffers from doom and gloom scenario, i'm sure it is relative to his chosen profession.

It's starting to make sense, Ryan was really nice to me at first, getting me involved in the club, checking to make sure I was having a good time and getting connected. Then he started bashing me on the forums so you elitist bastages from Raleigh would jump on me to and forget about him. That Ryan is sneaky smart!

Wouldn't happen to be another COT wing that found its way up here would it? I have one and a splitter waiting to be installed. The art work for the wrap is done and needs a few more tweaks then it gets wrapped. I'm gutting the interior now and making a few more changes. Hoping to have it all ready sometime this year. I think I can get it down close to 2900lbs with everything ripped out. Still debating just how stripped I want to go.

I didn't realize Alvin and PCM4less was still around. I remember talking to him when I had my C4.

Nice work on the car and accomplishments with it.

More progress, but no pics. If I get a chance of daylight tomorrow, I'll snap a few.

- installed the driver seat on a HardbarUSA base
- installed and adjusted harnesses for the lower seating position
- completed the rollbar padding
- installed a 12V heater fan for defrost
- rewebbed the driver net for the umpteenth time, finally somewhat happy with it
- sealed holes in rear tub around cage downbars
- rear rotors changed (taught my wife how to do a rotor swap)
- rear brake pads changed
- R6s installed for school, no need in burning up A6s
- changed oil and filter
- flushed clutch fluid (big thanks to my youngest daughter for pumping the pedal 200 times)
- washed exterior
- washed and detailed engine bay (my once a year task)
- applied PTA and R (rookie) stickers
- painted an old license plate orange, will install tomorrow

The car is headed to PCMforLess this week for an oil cooler mockup. And then to David Farmer for another corner balance and to change the tranny and diff fluids.

The DavidFarmerStuff-prepped, PCMforLess-tuned, C5 Mafia, PTA/TTA #01 C5Z06 is ready for Comp School. Now if Friday will just hurry up and get here!!!!!!!

BTW, I will have feedback on a pilot engine oil cooler from PCMforLess after next weekend. Results should be extremely promising.

Gotta say thanks to the following for all of the support over the past couple of years as well as prep for 2012: David Farmer, PCMforLess, NASA, Genesis Automotive, CMD Automotive, Hoosier, Discount Tire, Safety Solutions, Simpson, Carbotech, Discovery Parts, OG Racing, Performance Tread, Pro-Tint and Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. And a big thanks to Tarheel Sports Car Club and my instructors through the years for teaching me how to drive.
