It was, then DIYautotune had a sale :)

It's running again, trying to sort out a high RPM sync loss issue.

Spent the day getting things ready. I've got a busy week ahead and needed to wrap things up this weekend. It was long overdue but I now know that it takes six hours for me to hand wash a 44' enclosed trailer. Six hours and a lot of muscles that I've ignored recently. This was a task made more challenging by a redneck pickup with stacks that move the soot up and onto the whiteness of the trailer. On the plus side, I did discover that a leaf blower does a fantastic job of cleaning grit out of the E-track on the deck.

All day getting ready for next weekend and only 30 minutes working on the car - changed the front pads. The car has been running well so hopefully all it needs are the new rubber and new brakes. The ABS is now working so I should be nicer to the rubber than the last couple of sessions. I'm really excited about not running on multiple flat spots on three or four of the tires next weekend.

We went shopping yesterday for provisions and cookie ingredients. Just about ready to go down the trailer loading checklist tomorrow.

round tires are for wussies Colin.

i use a long handled brush to wash truck and trailer. but yes you do have a challenging rig, redneck at least. more like "Country Colonel", but what do i know.............. 8)

Ended up being pretty minor. I put on the expansion board for MS3 and had to adjust the trim pots for the cam input. The original issue was that the cam input broke off from a cold solder joint. Either way all that's left for me to do is attach the rear bar and swap out brake pads/fluid.

Awesome news. I will be running Friday only in the 318Ti and hanging out the remainder of the weekend as my brother runs sat and sun.

Looking forward to it.

Will gladly ride along with anybody willing to take a passenger along in the higher groups on Sat and Sun!

Good deal!

I thought you pulled the rear bar already? I took mine out of the car today - the bushings are fubared and it seems like everyone was running without one.

I pull the bar for autocross, it's just way too tail happy with it on. For track I got massive push in medium-low speed corners without one. I'm sure that there are driving issues that contribute to it but putting an OEM bar on the rear makes it much more balanced for me on track.

Come find me John and I'll give you a ride. Look for my car in one of the garages this weekend.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get the Miata aligned before the event? LRR is up at mid-ohio and PC is booked solid till our event. Does Happy Jap's do alignments? Looking for something in the greater Cary area or somewhere off 40 between Durham and Raleigh. Don't have any extra time to run up to Digital Chassis, if there is even a slot open up there.

Maybe I can see if Asian imports can figure out the Miata's cam bolt adjustments.
