He (not Bernie driving) was blocking us while us and Team Simon were running 2nd - 3rd on the same lap. If you're 50 laps down...get out of the way for the leaders. Trust me, I pointed that damn Probe by about 50 times at PBIR since he was the leader and we were over 100 laps down. Common courtesy IMO.

The "exfed" vw is for sale but that would be worse than the p-car!

Congrats to all the Tarheel teams for a great showing and bringing home a couple of trophies and some cash. I am sure they will want to buy us all drinks with their new found fortunes.

Our goal for next year with Grim Reaper will be to actually have enough horsepower to pass someone on the straights.

You'll notice the point-by I gave? Racing car that is clearly faster than you as hard as possible is just plain dumb in the first 2 hours of a 24 hour race. Besides all I had to do was wait for Jason to simply run out of gas! :P

literally or figuratively? either way you're right. i would have paid $500 for a 1/2 gal larger fuel tank at 1230 sun.

My Dodge folding bike didn't make it on the truck in the haze of exhaustion after the race -

Beer reward offered - anyone I can contact at VIR to ask if it was found?

Here's a video that has alot of Grumpy Old Men's Trans Am. Even when the car isn't in the video I'm right behind him towards the end you'll see(and hear) the ignition module fail as I'm passing between two cars. Also notice how many point-by's I got!!!! If we could keep it running, the 50 lap penalty wouldn't matter. I passed 33 cars in 5 laps and never exceeded 4500 rpm. Taking it easy didn't matter we had seven failures during the race......But that car is a freakin blast to drive...
