To anyone planning to attend the July 4-5, 2011 VIR Chin HPDE:
I have confirmed reservations for special rate of $80 for Best Western - Suite-2 Double Beds, Non-Smoking, Sitting Area, High Speed Internet Access, Microwave And Refrigerator, Coffee Maker, Hairdryer, Continental Breakfast.
AFAIK the best deal that can be had especially for a holiday, the 4th. And IMO the best rooms, considering the 'suite' style w/ sitting area, etc.
Need to split cost to remain in budget. For those thinking about commuting as we often do, to / from say Raleigh at ~$3.50-4.00 / gal. for gas, and say 3 gals. ea way, that's ~$20 for gas saved to offset cost of room when split in half.
FWIW... AFAIK I don't snore but can put up with folks what do, don't smoke, I've quit watching TV late and keeping folks up, and I don't trash the john like some folks are want to do... ';)
If ya don't like sump'n I'm doing, just speak up, I'll try to stop it... won't hurt my feelings one bit.
