I completely forgot to add in my piece to VK lol

It was going to be something to the nature of: VK, all of HANS that needs to be removed will be removed to keep it running on the track!

Yeah, I figured this would be good to get going. I like rwd, and besides.... its for fun right? 8)

I'm here to help, so my next piece of advice is _NOT_ to use all metal valve stems. :stick:

FYI, be aware there will likely be a safety rules update for 2012 in Lemons, but it hasn't been released yet. Be sure you read ALL the rules before you build yourself into a corner.

Yeah, the first day is teardown day. After we asses needs, then we plan on a lengthy review, read, reread of the rules.

Thanks for the heads up

Cool. Seriously just remember the golden rule of crap-can endurance racing and you'll be just fine.

Do not remove the defroster

my two cents... congrats on the fine purchase BTW, build to ChumpCar rules. LeMons should have no issues with that build. can't say the same of vice versa.

you will need to pull the dash to install a dash bar in your cage. while not yet mandated i would strongly suggest you add one.

Sorry, didn't mean to insinuate that there would not be a dash bar, just that the full dash (minus glove box/radio) would be reinstalled

ok, I saw alot of Dunlop Star Specs at the Chump race. I ASSume that is a decent decision to run those on the E30. There are no 14's that I know of available in that tire, so looking to run 205/50R15 Star Specs so I have to find some E30 friendly 15" rims now.

Ok, thru that meandering rambling... tire thoughts? Tire size thoughts?

we ran these at NL and they are a great tire. wear was impressive, as was grip. didn't notice them getting greasy like an Azeni is prone to do but it was fairly moderate to cool temperature wise in Ohio.

205/50/15 work fine on the E30.
