Kent Keller Memorial Service at VIR

On Saturday, June 4th, there will be an informal memorial service for Kent Keller at the uphill esses, beginning at around 5pm. Those interested are invited to attend, with refreshments at Anne's trailer afterward.

For those who didn't make it to Vir. Track Daze held the last session of the day as a memorial for Kent Keller,their Tshirts had his corvette his Trans Am number and his name on the back of their shirt. They held the last group on the grid and let Ann go to the uphill esses and scatter his ashes. She then continued on from there to complete one lap, all flag stations removed their hats and held them over their hearts. when she completed the lap all his racing friends were sent out on track for several fast laps. After two laps the rest of the field was released to drive the last session. There was pizza from Millies and beer from the tavern at VIR after the session ended
A real good way to say good bye to someone who loved VIR, a really fitting tribute to a unique character and good friend to all who raced and instructed.
