so Walter who did you end up buying dinner for since i didn wreck the car? i hope it was a steak dinner because i didnt even have a close call.

the problem with our car was the power block at the front passenger side of the firewall the lug that feeds the main power relay lost power in the middle of T14 with Cline driving. idk what happened that made the lug loose power but i moved the wire to another lug and we were ready for the next day.

To be fair I should buy you dinner! You were fast and didn't wreck. I won't speak to the condition of the tires, but you drove great. Several drivers stopped by to comment on how fast you were.

To add to Sean's diagnosis. The failure was inside the power block. Everything look good from the outside and the wire was connected properly. Something inside the power block broke. Some of the lugs had power. Do you have one of those Bret?

In Steve's defense we did think it was the coil at first. We actually found the problem by accident when Sean was checking continuity for the 100th time.

That's funny. I enjoyed watching Whitney and VK out there Sunday morning. VK blew by him and within 10 minutes Whitney had to pit because the temperature spiked again. A little red mist you think?

Cline was concerned after seeing you lock it up going into 14 a few times.

As Walter was on the radio with you...
Cline: "Walter, can you tell Sean to leave some round on the tires for me?"

Hey those Oconnell drivers are great, here is what colin looked like about every other time @ 12. Yet when I got in the car was in relatively good shape. I guess they know how to use the rubber uniformely

Steve, I thought you should hear this here before you were suprised in person with it. It is ironic that that the example is from Walter who said it was the fault of the guy he hit. Walter also said his accident and flat spotting were all one incident so you couldn't count them both against him. I am afraid Karma is going to kick my :moon: next race so I think I will quite talking smack.

Easy not to flat spot when you don't have brakes!

But, it is true! The guy in the youth size carting suit turned into me when he made Turn One four wide. I was trying to get out of his way and did do that damage to the tire. How many of you Lemons drivers think making Turn One four wide by trying to out brake the other cars on the inside of the turn is a good idea? I would have hit him harder if I had not braked.

Cline forgot to mention that we changed Steve's name to Bemmerchak.

Walter, I'm sure I've got one, but I'm having trouble visualizing what part it is..... Is it the junction block on the firewall that has the battery cable connection and then a small connector below (above?) that? Mounted in a plastic bracket that would normally have a black plastic cover over it marked "+" ???

EDIT: this thing?-

If that's not it, can you post a pic or a description of exactly what it looks like???
