Dorifto Dogs are running again and will start well down in the field tomorrow per Cline. seems it wasn't the coil but a bad wire to the ecu. gotta love some BMW electronics. :x

Magnum is running strong but seem to have an issue with their brakes............... again?

Yeah, Vincent told me they burnt thru the rear pads by mid afternoon and had to REALLY tip toe around.

This didn't help either...

We heard the really good rubber in an Azenis RT-615 was the layer below the steel belts. You know the one right before you hit air!

We'll have the Dunlops on the front tomorrow so hopefully they will fair better.

That right there probably cost Magnum PU the win. They changed the rotors, calipers, pads and bled the brakes in 18 mins.

Congrats to the Integrenators on finishing the race in around 30th the last time I saw the results!

The Dogs didn't have such a hot weekend and were somewhere around 40th with electrical problems.

Maybe or maybe not but it sure didn't help. Hong Norr was strong the whole race so they may have won anyway, but it would have been nice to been able to battle them for the win...especially since they spent the last 30 mins taking it easy because they were really low on fuel. They are all super nice guys and raced us clean the whole race. They were good pit neighbors as well.

Swapping out that caliper and pads all while they were RED HOT was no small feat. I think doing that and a driver change in 18 mins was darn impressive on our team's part. Stephen is the man when it comes to swapping hot brake parts.

All thing considered, we still had yet another good run ending up in 3rd place. We had good pit stops throughout the weekend and not many penalties.

Here's a link to the results:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key ... ndFE&hl=en

The Duff car made it through the weekend without the car blowing up for the first time, and finished 7th, which is astonishing for us. We didn't know what to do with ourselves on Saturday night without having to replace the engine in the car. The cluster kept blowing fuses, so we had no engine temp or fuel gauges on Sunday. One of our injectors started leaking and got progressively worse as the weekend wore on, killing our power and gas mileage. Toward the end the only cars that I could stay ahead of were the wagovan (barely) and the Fury. The car was also eating tires; we'll have to check the alignment. Our rookie driver performed really well, with only one stop-n-go black flag for autocrossing it through the track entry cones. All things considered, it was by far our best weekend at LeMons. We never even had to go to the auto parts store, Wal-Mart, the junk yard, or Lowe's!

The driving was really clean and fast overall, and we only got hit once by the Road Warriors. Nobody really pissed us off that much, except maybe the guys who brought a $2000 car to the race, but they ended up not finishing, so I guess that it all works out.

I think their weight cost them the win. Just look at this picture, there are plenty of opportunities to shed weight here...
